Product Care Instructions
Each of our products at Tinku & Co. is carefully handmade with love and attention to detail. To keep them looking their best and ensure their longevity, we recommend following these care instructions:
1. Gentle Washing
Hand wash your fabric items in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the colors and materials.
2. Spot Cleaning
For small stains, gently spot clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
3. Drying
Lay your fabric items flat to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as it can distort its shape. If necessary, gently reshape the item while it’s damp.
4. Ironing
If needed, iron your fabric items on a low heat setting. Always iron on the reverse side to prevent any damage to the fabric’s texture and design.
5. Storage
Keep your handmade products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to prevent fading or discoloration over time.
6. Repairs
In the unlikely event that stitching comes undone, it can easily be stitched back at home. We recommend using a needle and thread that matches the fabric for seamless repairs.
